Software Developer

NoMuda is a software house that focuses development on its market leading shop floor documentation tool. The software is used by a growing number of large to medium sized manufacturing clients. Nomuda was formed over 10 years ago as a lean Manufacturing Consultancy, but our expertise in the Manufacturing industry enabled us to recognise an opening in the market for a software application to simplify and define the standard process and communicate information to the assembler on the shop floor. Nomuda’s leading software product is called 'Visual Factory.net' and it is written in Asp.net and SQL Server. VisualFactory.Net is a multi-lingual software tool for creating, maintaining and delivering shop floor documentation. It integrates with existing MRP/ERP and EDM systems for part and order data and integration with online drawings.

The software developer role involves working as part of high quality development team maintaining Nomuda’s Software products and databases in Asp.net and SQL Server 2008. The Developer will be expected to understand and communicate business requirements, problem solve, specify and document changes, action, issue test and release changes across an n-tier product environment to the standards expected by Nomuda. Software Developers are involved in all aspects of software development; a successful candidate must be a team player with good communication skills with experience of developing software with Microsoft technologies.

The role is office based with the occasional requirement to work away. Private Transport is an essential requirement due to Nomuda’s offices being based in the countryside near Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire.
